Release 2.4 Information

The following is an overview of the new development items in the 2.4 release of the Air Maestro® software.

Document Library Document Control
  • PDF documents can be set to view only in the library, preventing the user from saving the files to their local computer. This feature uses a third party control to provide a viewer for the PDF rather than allowing the user to download the file. This is useful in situations where it is important to control the version and access to particular documents.
Personal Profiles
  • Custom fields are now able to be created to store personnel details relating to your company requirements. You can use the custom fields feature to store information relating to personnel such as additional email addresses, additional passport numbers, visa numbers etc. Custom fields can be grouped into meaningful categories.
Timesheets
  • A new sign-off feature has been introduced in the timesheets, where users can sign-off completed timesheets at the end of the month, to confirm that they are complete and correct. The sign-off feature prevents users from modifying information in timesheets which they have already signed-off ensuring that past data is always correct.
Fatigue Controls
  • A new FAID®v2 report has been created. This report allows users to select whether they wish to produce a report on actual or rostered data. Users can also view the percentage of time spent in each FAID® condition.
  • A beta version of the Prior Sleep Wake Model has been implemented. When enabled the Prior Sleep Wake Model calculates a fatigue indication based on the sleep obtained in the last two nights. When enabled Pilots are asked to enter their sleep and nap periods on login. From there the data flows into the Timesheets to be evaluated by the Work Practice Controls.
