The Recency Management module is a valuable module for your organisation to keep your recency requirements current. Being accessible 24/7, Air Maestro™ becomes beneficial to both management and personnel in this area giving both access to view recency dates at all times.
The Recency Management module includes CAR 217 and recency associated with aircraft items.
The CAR 217 recency item covers the Command Instrument Rating, Base Check & Night Check requirements giving management the flexibly set renewal windows and warning periods accordingly.
The module includes a user friendly set up tool to manage the type of recency to specific departments/roles within your organisation and to set certain time periods for alerting.
The module automatically generates alerts to show approaching expiry dates as a caution within the user’s login page and when any items have expired.
Other useful benefits of this module include:
- Re-validation date & reminder for recency requirements such as Medical Certificates
- Ability to set recency items to either mandatory, self updatable or end of the month
- Select the Primary Contact, generally the Chief Pilot, to alert when recency expiries are approaching by email & login alerts. Alerts will be sent also when the recency item expires
- The aircraft recency items will dynamically reflect within the Personnel Wizard to allocate against endorsements when setting up a pilot user
- All recency items associated to personnel will be viewable under ‘My Recency’
- The Recency Management module can set items to ‘self updateable’. This is quite handy for pilots to update their own recency for items such as ‘Night Circuits’ etc
